A UNESCO WORLD HARITAGE SITE: GREAT BARRIER REEF

The Great Barrier Reef is the largest coral reef in the world. The reef is located in the Coral Sea, in front of the coast of Queensland in northeast Australia. The reef, which stretches over 2600 kilometers and it can be distinguished from the space. The Great Barrier Reef is a habitat for many species; it is possible to find a lot of fish, sharks, mollusks, corals and a lot of endangered species.

A large area of the reef is protected by the Marine Park of the Great Barrier Reef. The Great Barrier Reef has been declared a World Heritage Site by the Unesco in 1981.

MEDIA

Normally I don’t read the newspapers, because I am not interested in the business or political news but sometimes I watch the news in the T.V. with my parents. Every day when I go to the High Scholl with bus I listen the radio Flaix FM, the news and the weather.

I prefer to watch films or others programmes in the T.V. or read women’s magazines. Normally I buy the magazines: Cuore, Elle ... because I like the fashion mode and news from the heart.

FILMS

I love very much going to the cinema and my favourites movies are the horror film and love story. Also I like the movies of action and comedy because are very funny, but I hate the film with violence and the cartoons films. I really like horror movies but I need to watch these movies with my friends, never alone, because I have a lot of scream. I often go to the cinema with friends and I like very much to see the movies eating popcorn and candy.

MUSIC

I love the music; I listen to music at home, in the car in all the moments and all the places. I like listening to music when I'm happy and when I'm sad. I like very much the Electrolatino music and the House music. Always I hear music, I like listening to the principal list of music in the radio and always I hear Flaix FM. I don’t like the classic music because is a music very quiet and I like de music more animate or for dance. I don’t like de Flamenco music.

SPORTS

I like sports but now I do not make any special. When I was 5 years old I did many sports I started ballet, I loved it and I did very well, I had classes in St. Pere Pescador and every year we did a Festival in Castelló, but when I was 9 years old, the teacher moved to the town and stopped the classes. I also did two years of judo, but I did not like too much and the year before starting the Higth School I played tennis in L’Escala and football. I'm allergic and asthmatic but I've always been able to do all kinds of sports, but sometimes when I have a crisis I put myself Ventolin to breathe well. Now I don’t do any particular sport but I live in a town and always walk around by bicycle with friends.

SAW

First of all I would like to say that I like very much the scary movies but really scare me so much. My favorite movie is Saw and I Saw this film at the cinema with friends. Personally I think that it is a good film and I Saw the six movies fortunately I went to see all the movies with my friends because I could not go alone because they are scared. In my opinion the actors do very well and I believe the director and the script are very good.

The film’s story revolves around Adam and Lawrence, two men who are chained in a dilapidated subterranean bathroom and are each giver instructions of a microcassette records on how to escape. Adam is told he must escape the bathroom, while Lawrence’s family will die. Meanwhile the police investigate and attempt to apprehend the mastermind behind the game.

Finally I recommend everyone to see this movie.

MY HOBBIES

When I don’t have school I can do everything I like. I spent a lot of my time with my friends.

I have a lot of hobbies. I like to draw pictures and listen to music. I need exercise, so I go to play sports. I sit a lot at school, so in my free time I like to walk. Walking in the open air is relaxing for me. I like to go to the park and to the beach for walking. I enjoy going to see the movies and concerts. I like to visit museums, art galleries. I hope to go to Paris, because there you can find everything.

I like to go to the parties with lots of music and dancing. I can meet new people there. But, also I like to be with my close friends, I like smaller get-togethers, where my friends and I can talk, listen to the music. When I am a little moody, sometimes I prefer to go to someone house and be with a few close friends. In summer we usually go swimming, cycling, walking and jogging.

When there is not good weather we enjoy social games like chess, cards.. I like it, but I do not often win.
