ABSTRACT: FAIR TRADE

My research work is about the Fair Trade, defined as a trade different from conventional trade and which attempts to solve the problems of trade among developed and underdeveloped countries. Moreover it searches  equitable canals for the agrarians and artisans products.

The research work is divided into two parts, a theory part with all the information that I looked for this subject and the practical part which consists of different opinion surveys and some fieldwork carried out at  different  Fair Trade supermarkets and shops.

Sony makes an experimental e-paper watch:

It is a watch with a design very simple but with a very clear lines and very fashionable, following current trends.

The batteries of the e-paper work for about 60 days.

The technology of the watch face and straps is similar to used in e-book readers such as Amazon’s Kindle.

The Sony brand has hidden it was working on this device because I wanted to see if this product had sufficient demand or interest.

Product features are very good and being investigated in the realization of other fashion products such as shoes, ties and glasses.

The date is currently unknown when the Sony to market this product.

NEWS: Airport raids tackle cyberthieves over ticket fraud

Cyberthieves have been arrested in a series of raids named Global Airport Action.

Europol made some raids in the Airports for to arrest some scammers who bought

airline tickets with stolen credit cards.

The police dragged a total of 118 people at 80 Airports from 45 different countries.

The airlines have a loss of £ 640m a year because of fraudulent traffic tickets.

These raids were made in conjunction with the police, airlines and credit card companies and with the collaboration of the command centres in The Hague, Singapore and Bogota.

Many of those arrested were already known to police for similar offenses.

These raids have also helped to arrest people involved in drug trade and human trafficking.

I think that, every time, with the new technologies there are more scams especially with the credit cards.

Thieves learn new techniques and improve their skills, so I think it is good that the police do these raids and try to put measures to prevent these types of crimes and to enforce the law.

NEWS: The surprising power of emoticons :-O

Today there are million of emoticons. Chris Baraniuk discovers as well as some can affect our emotions.

All started in 1980s when a computer scientist named Scott Fahlman created the first emoticon with a two points and a script. Since then arose a lot of different emoticons, that represents all types of emotions.

Khotulev says that using emoticons can to cause stronger and more varied responses from conversation.

Often there haven't enough words to explain the emotions and we used emoticons for improve the comunication.

Even using the emoticons we can know details about who you are and normally the womens used more emoticons than the men.

They been discovered that when we see some emoticon, our brain activity it activate as when we see a human face.

Keltner says that in the future, the emoticons could be more complex.

In my opinion the emoticons are essential for the communication with the messages. And it is very interesting to see that these icons effect in our emotions.
