Sony makes an experimental e-paper watch:

It is a watch with a design very simple but with a very clear lines and very fashionable, following current trends.

The batteries of the e-paper work for about 60 days.

The technology of the watch face and straps is similar to used in e-book readers such as Amazon’s Kindle.

The Sony brand has hidden it was working on this device because I wanted to see if this product had sufficient demand or interest.

Product features are very good and being investigated in the realization of other fashion products such as shoes, ties and glasses.

The date is currently unknown when the Sony to market this product.

NEWS: Airport raids tackle cyberthieves over ticket fraud

Cyberthieves have been arrested in a series of raids named Global Airport Action.

Europol made some raids in the Airports for to arrest some scammers who bought

airline tickets with stolen credit cards.

The police dragged a total of 118 people at 80 Airports from 45 different countries.

The airlines have a loss of £ 640m a year because of fraudulent traffic tickets.

These raids were made in conjunction with the police, airlines and credit card companies and with the collaboration of the command centres in The Hague, Singapore and Bogota.

Many of those arrested were already known to police for similar offenses.

These raids have also helped to arrest people involved in drug trade and human trafficking.

I think that, every time, with the new technologies there are more scams especially with the credit cards.

Thieves learn new techniques and improve their skills, so I think it is good that the police do these raids and try to put measures to prevent these types of crimes and to enforce the law.

Today there are million of emoticons. Chris Baraniuk discovers as well as some can affect our emotions.

All started in 1980s when a computer scientist named Scott Fahlman created the first emoticon with a two points and a script. Since then arose a lot of different emoticons, that represents all types of emotions.

Khotulev says that using emoticons can to cause stronger and more varied responses from conversation.

Often there haven't enough words to explain the emotions and we used emoticons for improve the comunication.

Even using the emoticons we can know details about who you are and normally the womens used more emoticons than the men.

They been discovered that when we see some emoticon, our brain activity it activate as when we see a human face.

Keltner says that in the future, the emoticons could be more complex.

In my opinion the emoticons are essential for the communication with the messages. And it is very interesting to see that these icons effect in our emotions.

Back the retro fashion in phones. On Sept.4, Anna Wintour, the editor of Vogue was photographed using a flip phone at the United States Open tennis tournament.

Ms. Wintour is not alone in this retro-chic phenomenon a lot of celebrities including Rihanna, Kate Beckinsale anb Scarlett Johansson have been photographed using their flip phones and also various politicos has been spotted using an old clamshell model.

The Senator Charles E. Schumer admits bought 10 of them in case they run out.

Saving money is only one of the big pluses. These phones are practically indestructible.

As a night-life chronicler is necessary to observe in live what’s going and not be obsessed with social nets, recording and taking pictures all the time.

With these phones I can live in the moment and I can be concentrate in all we do.

But I think it is not good to go back because the Smartphone are fantastic and the fact, they using these retro phones because is fashion and cool and it is just a way to get attention.

However I think it is a warning to the telephone companies, because they not raise prices.

OPINION ESSAY: Does humour play an important role in life?

Humour is international. Everybody has humor but at differents levels, depends on culture, age... Also, There are people who work making people laugh, such as: comedians and clowns; however, not everybody has this talent.

People like humour, life with humour is more funnier and nicer. Everybody wants and needs be happy. They say that happiness is for "ignorants", but I think that happiness is very important for our life.

Humour, happiness,enjoying and fun, in my opinion they go together. There is only one life and a sad life is not worth having.

TDR: Fair trade

In a few days she must to deliver the research work, we are in the final stretch. The matter of my TDR is the Fair Trade. In start, was difficult because I didn't know how to start. But after it has been more easier than I thought.

The fair trade is a trade trying to resolve the injustices that occur in the trade between the industrialized countries and the undeveloping countries, seeking equitable distribution channels for agricultural products and the artisans and trying to educate the consumers in the rich countries.

The true is that when I began the reserch work, I didn't know what was the fair trade, but, doing the work, I learned a lot. 

I hope obtain a good mark, and that my efforts have resulted.

Patchwork

My grandmother likes always to do sewing and crafts, she is an artist. A few years ago, she began to do patchwork.

Patchwoed is the art of uniting fabrics of different colors and sizes using multiple techniques to reach different reasons and useful form or simply decorative objects. As for example: bedspreads, cushions, carpets, paintings, baskets, boxes...

My grandmother always do a presents for the family made for her. They are very beautifuls and creatifs things. There are different of the others gifts because are made with her hands. She buy all types of fabric and she creates differents objects.

When I heard for first time this song, I liked a lot. It is very funny and catchy. The singer is Meghan Trainor, she was born in Nantucket. She began writing songs when she was 11 years old. With this song she becomes famous and reaches and she was the number 1 in the US and the UK.

The letter of this song explain that to be so thin, not is so attractive, it is issue of tastes. Also talks and critikize the magazines and photoshop, and she says that the people must accept your body as we are. She has a large size and is proud to be so.

The beer is a drink very calorific, it is more calorific than an others foods or drinks that we take during the day. And normaly the beer affect more the mens than the womans.

When we drink beer, our liver works for detoxify the alcohol of the body. A beer contain approximately 150 calories, and all the calories consumed during the day remain in the body because they are very difficult to eliminate.

Depen of the age and the gender persons the calories go in one place or another. For example, normally in the men the calories end up in the belly, and these tend to reduce the rate. Unlike women, them calories go on their backside and hips.

NEWS: Indian white tiger kills man at Delhi zoo

In a zoo from Indian happened a serious accident in the past day 23 of September. A white tiger attacked and killed a worker of the Delhi zoo and he was only 20 years old.

Some children saw as the tiger caught the worker for his neck and he was writhing in pain, and they began to throw stones and sticks at the tiger. The man was suffered during 10 or 15 minutes and nobody helped his. People that saw, they say that he fell down or slipped in the enclosure of the tiger because the fence was very low.

The white tigers are rare variant of the Orange sub-especies and nowdays this especie are in danger of extinction. A lot of these tigers have diseases and for this reason very few tigers of this especie remain.

In my opinion this news is very surprising and terrible. The zoos should be more secure and watched. And I hope that not happen again.

My goals

Dear Elisabet 

My name is Mar Sagrera and I study second social baxillerat. Principally my short-term goals in this moment are to finish the research project and obtain a good mark, and the most important goal is to pass all the subjects and arrive qualified in the selectivity examns. This year is the most important and the most difficult one, but I think  to study a lot and keep going. But I refuse to give up to go to parties and I stay with my friends.

When I finish this school year my log-term goals will be to go the University in Girona.I  Still don’t know the degree i want to study, but I have different options and I have to see which is the best for me. When I finish the studies I would like to travel around the world, I learn different languages and to know different cultures.
